Confirmation is an important step in a young person's journey of faith. It is a time for them to more fully understand faith and their relationship with God and to consider becoming adult members in the church. One of the most important decisions a young person can make in their life is to commit themselves to Christ and to take up membership in His church through confirmation of the Baptismal vows that have been made - usually by their parents when they are infants.
The Confirmation Class helps our young people explore their faith journey and how to express their faith in Christ Jesus. The Confirmands meet regularly for fellowship and study. The class is designed to give students an opportunity to deepen and confirm their faith in Jesus Christ, learn the basic theology of the Christian faith, and learn what it means to identify with the Presbyterian Church family.
