Youth Ministry at Westminster

In partnership with families, the Youth Ministry at Westminster Presbyterian Church exists to engage 100% of the students under its care, to train them to live independently in Christ and to send them out as exceptional men and women of integrity who will transform their homes, their schools, their communities, their workplaces and their worlds for Christ.

We have an amazing group of teenagers and youth leaders at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Buffalo. The keystone of our Youth Ministry is found in our emphasis on empowering families and connecting students to an extended Christian family in the church.

All of our teenagers meet in grade-level classes each week on Sunday morning for Sunday School classes with progressive and nurturing curriculum, covering everything from the patriarchs to peer pressure. These classes are taught by an energetic team of adults and High School Students who love Jesus Christ and love kids.

Our youth groups are categorized as Middlers (6th - 8th grades) and Senior Highs (9th - 12th grades).

Our regular events are denoted by the following: C.I.A. (Christians In Action) events are for both Middlers and Sr. Highs.  Middler events are for 6th - 8th graders only and Sr. High events are for 9th - 12th grade only.

We perform two mission trips throughout the program year.  One is an urban mission trip in February to either Washington DC, NYC or other metropolitan city and the other is to Hartford, Maine.  For more information on the annual Maine Mission Trip, click HERE.
